April club meeting

This is a reminder that our April club meeting is TOMORROW, Wednesday, April 13th.

The meeting will be at the Extension office and will start at 7pm.

Meeting tonight!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Just a reminder that our first club meeting of the year IS TOMORROW!  It will be at the extension office at 7pm!  This meeting is taking the place of the Christmas Open house that we have had for the past couple of years.

We will kick off the year by passing out some important information, going over dates and enrollment, and electing officers.  The business part of the meeting will be short, followed by some fun Christmas mixers!

WEAR YOUR FAVORITE UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER!  There will be prizes for the best one(s)!  Also, feel free to bring your favorite Christmas treat to share at the end of the meeting.

Flower Sales!

We have a few flowers still available in the Egenolf building for sale!  Thanks to all who sold and helped.  If you are interested in purchasing more flowers, see below for a list of what is available.  All will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.  I will be available tonight at the English clinic, and tomorrow night if you would like to stop by and pick up more flowers.  Please don't respond to this email with what you want to purchase.  You will need to have exact change, or a check with you.  

Geraniums $25 flat:

Red - 29 flats, 14 each

White - 6 flats, 12 each

Violet - 3 flats, 6 each

Salmon - 14 flats, 0 each

Hanging baskets $18:

3 mixed impatiens

1 pink impatiens

2 violet impatiens

1 pink vining geranium

Bedding flats $15 flat (12 - 4 packs, total 48 plants):

Dahlias (mixed) - 2 flats plus 2/3 flat (or 8 - 4 packs)

Impatiens (mixed) - 2 flats

Vinca (red) - 1/2 flat (or 6 - 4 packs)

Vinca (white) - 1/3 flat (or 4 - 4 packs)

Vinca (grape) - 1 flat plus 1/3 flat (or 4 - 4 packs)

Petunias (red) - 1 flat

Meeting Tonight!

This is a reminder that our club meeting will be TONIGHT at 7pm.  This meeting will be held at Scott Hall.  We have a lot of fun things planned to share with you!

Please bring FLOWER sales forms! Our club flower sales forms are due at the meeting with all money.

Leaders will be at Scott Hall tonight from 6-7pm to collect flower forms and money in case you are unable to attend the meeting.  Or, you can turn forms in to the Extension Office BEFORE 3pm.

4H Council themed basket

WHAT:  horse lovers movie basket

WHERE: council has agreed to live auction this basket off during the contesting show at the County Fair

WHO:  Hoofprints members are encouraged to donate items for our basket!  We already have donations of horse stickers, several horse movies, a basket, and clear cellophane.  What we need: popcorn, boxed candy, fuzzy slippers, or anything else to make a perfect comfy movie night.

HOW:  Bring any items you wish to donate (or money to be used to purchase these items) or the open show this weekend, to Art or Stephanie during clinics, or to the next club meeting on June 26.  All donations must be received by the 26th.
